GROUP – 1 :  JONAS SALK GROUP

Salk, Jonas Edward (1914–95), U.S. microbiologist. He developed the standard Salk vaccine against polio, using virus inactivated by formalin, in the early 1950s.

GROUP – 4 :  SWAMI NATHAN GROUP

M S Swaminathan (born 7 August 1925) is an Indian agriculture scientist in Kuttanad, kerala. He is known as the "Father of the Green Revolution in India", for his leadership and success in introducing and further developing high-yielding varieties of wheat in India. He is the founder and Chairman of the MS Swaminathan Research Foundation.[1]

Har Gobind Khorana (January 9, 1922 – November 9, 2011) was an Indian-born American biochemist who shared the Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine in 1968 with Marshall W. Nirenberg and Robert W. Holley for research that helped to show how the nucleotides in nucleic acids, which carry the genetic code of the cell, control the cell's synthesis of proteins. Khorana and Nirenberg were also awarded the Louisa Gross Horwitz Prize from Columbia University in the same year.
